Jemma Young- Women face many disadvantages by means of this clip. They have less equality in getting jobs when appearing pregnant also they face discrimination in general public when going out shopping. The discrimination this creates for women is that they are uncomfortable in going out in public, in the workforce- less opportunaties.

Justine Newie Salazar- This piece of evidence accentuates the notion of the " glass ceiling", women have more of a disadvantage obtaining jobs whilst they are pregnant, due to maternal steroetypes.

Claude Vidal- this video demonstrates the disadvantages faced by women in terms of gender discrimination and work opportunities. evidence shows that that even with the change in social acceptences and the passings of new acts, people are still in the old frame of mind where women were less equal hence the lack of work of work opportunities and discrimination.

Rebecca Towerton - Being pregnant creates the disadvantage of not being employed. This clip points out that pregnant women applying for a job are treated differently in both subtle and non-subtle ways. Employers feel that pregnant women are more hostile than those women applying that are not pregnant.

Sarah Nega -
In the first clip, the fact that women were discriminated against based upon their pregnancy, despite the legislation in place to prevent this, demonstrates a lack of effectiveness in the law’s ability to prevent discriminatory behaviour from occurring. Thus, the disadvantage created for women is the certainty that they will face discrimination to varying degrees because of their status as pregnant or a woman itself.
In the second clip, the disadvantage faced by women is the concept of “the glass ceiling”. This concept describes the barriers faced by women in their endeavours to progress into managerial or higher paid positions. This is evidenced through the fact that no woman has ever occupied the CEO position or even top three positions in any of the firms on Wall Street.
